January 2nd: Now for the Fun Part

- Received Mystery Gift. A shiny Raikou!

- After talking to Aar for a bit, we decided to trade a Cyndaquil egg for a Totodile egg using the WFC trade feature. It was a good way to see it in action.
- During the first trade, Aar was talking about a mod he had to get through dialog faster. I said I had something similar, turned off the frame rate limiter in the middle of the trade, then the connection died.
- Redid the trade and it worked successfully.
- Took the opportunity to show him the Pokemon from 2010 that I copied in, as I told him I modified my save, but not what I had changed. We reminisced about HG/SS for a while after that.
- I saw something about a special thing that happens at Mt. Moon on Tuesday nights. I went out there to see that.
- Did not realize that there was a fight with the rival there. Did that fight and recorded it.
- Headed to Pallet Town to get a Kanto starter.
- Didn't have a free space in my party, so I had to fly back to Viridian to make a free space, then fly back.
- I choose... Bulbasaur!

I'll put the list of what I'd like to do here:
+ Get a Forretress
+ Get a Ledian
+ Get to 9999 coins in the game corner and waste all of it on a Porygon
+ Visit the Safari Zone
+ Do some of the Pokeathlon events
+ Do more exploring of Kanto
+ Do a few online battles that I will most certainly lose due to not having a full Lv. 100 team
+ Trade for Totodile (done), Chikorita, Squirtle, and maybe some other ones.
+ I think there's more online functionality besides trade and battles, so I'll want to see that, too
+ Do the Groudon thing because Aar told me about it
