June 17th: Not the Omelette I Thought I'd Get

- More grinding for levels on Route 113.
- In a place comprised almost entirely of Spindas, a Sandshrew was refreshing to see.
> Caught: CLAIRE [F]
- Decided to go to Route 114 and hope there were some higher level Pokemon to fight there.
- Gary found a PP Up.
- Looks like Route 114 has a lot of Grass types. Should be good for Sredsa.
- Ran into a Swablu. I have some recollection of these evolving into something very good. I'll catch it.
> Caught: BILLY [M]
- This area also has Sevipers, which are not good for Sredsa.
- Encountered a Swablu with Sing. Not fun.
- The Lotads like to use Nature Power, which turns into Stun Spore and always hits.
- Gary found a Super Potion.
- Samantha hasn't learned any new moves so far. I decided to look it up and apparently Wynauts won't really learn moves until level 15. Samantha is currently level 14.
- After three battles, Samantha leveled up, learned a bunch of new moves, and evolved.
> SAMANTHA: Wynaut -> Wobbuffet
- Her new moveset is Mirror Coat, Charm, Safeguard, and Counter.
- Needing to react to a move in order to deal damage seems kind of limiting. I then decided to look up what else Wobbuffet eventually learns. This is it. It doesn't learn anything else from leveling up and the moves it can learn from TMs/HMs are very few and not helpful to dealing damage.

I should have looked up the moves for Wobbuffet before committing to grinding for levels. I don't necessarily think it was a bad thing that I spent the time doing that. Wobbuffet seems like it would be good in select circumstances and almost useless otherwise. My thought now is to either switch back to using Fitz or give Swablu a shot. I'll go with training (Exp. Share) Billy. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back to making actual progress soon.
