When Fortnite originally exploded in popularity in 2018, I gave it a try, didn't like it, and put it down. Six years later, an Avatar event caught my eye and encouraged me to give the game another chance. What followed was several months worth of playing the game to reevaluate the experience and my opinions of it. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it at all but I was surprised to find that wasn't the case in spite of many things I still don't like about this game.
