January 24th: Attempting Singles Battle Tower

- Went to the Game Corner and got some more coins.
- Headed to the Battle Frontier to give Battle Tower singles a go.
- Got fucked on Battle 20 because I would have just barely clutched it out but the enemy Pidgeot got a crit.
- It didn't occur to me to switch out Peep's Light Clay for Leftovers.

I think the most crushing part about the Battle Tower defeat was thinking about what happened and realizing that if I switched in Super! to set up a Yawn on the Pidgeot, I likely would have won that battle. I'm not going to be too torn up about it because I would have almost certainly faltered somewhere else. I should have probably put the time today into the Safari Zone, but I'll do that the next time I load up the save. As for the Pokeathlon, I should transfer the save to a real system so I can use an actual touchscreen. Those minigames mostly, if not entirely rely on the touchscreen for control.
