I didn't have the idea to write notes or thoughts about my playthrough until the second day, so all of this was written retroactively during or after the 10th.
- Started game.
- Contemplated choosing Totodile, but ultimately chose Cyndaquil. If I'm finally going to play the whole game, I ought to do it with the same starter I chose on Easter 2010.
> Got: SYNC III
- Grabbed the egg from Mr. Pokemon.
- First rival battle. Named him "PATRICK" because it was the first thing I thought of.
- Got lost for a while because I forgot you could get past the jump-down ledges.
- First Pokemon caught was a Ratatta.

- Made it to Violet City
- Got a Ghastly in Sprout Tower

- Falkner's gym went without any real issues.
- Not long after, Sync III evolved

- Through Route 32 and Union Cave, caught a Bellsprout, Wooper, and Zubat
> Caught: VINER [F]

> Caught: ZUMA [M]

I got my first Pokemon game as a gift on Easter Day of 2010 (April 4th). The game in question was SoulSilver. I played through the Johto part of the game, then got lost or didn't realize there was more to the game. I never actually played through the rest of the game, which I plan to remedy with this playthrough. I want to stick with my Cyndaquil (and evolutions) and hatch the egg into Togepi and work it up to a Togetic, as these were two of my favorites from the game. Other than these, I want to expand out and try more Pokemon that I otherwise wouldn't have considered using in my party. I'm in no rush to beat the whole game. I want to take my time and really enjoy it.
END: 3-ish hours, 1 badge, maybe 7 or 8 Pokedex.
